SHIRLEY.ANN.TIPPING

PHOTOGRAPHER.WRITER

Shirley Ann Tipping was born in Liverpool, England. She graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 1996 with a BA hons degree in Fine Art Photography. Shirley is a practising artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. Her work focuses on the interchange between the geographical/historical and celluloid American West. She is currently writing a book chronicling the aural and visual histories of the western movie sets still standing today.
